The Latin Smooth jazz duo Akusticos from Costa Rica - John Odio (saxophone) and Walter Blanco (guitar) - will start the concert evening on Saturday at 7.30 pm as opening band in front of Shilts. In addition, the duo will provide a melodic conclusion of the evening at the aftershow party from 10.30 pm.

We are pleased to announce the Smooth Jazz Festival Augsburg 2010. Having received a lot of positive response to the first two festivals in Bregenz 2008 and Munich 2009 (see Archive), we will celebrate this year at the historic Park Theater at Kurhaus Augsburg from 24th to 26th September. Please visit the virtual tour to get a feeling for this unique location all over Germany. The Smooth Jazz Stars on stage are Rick Braun, David Benoit, Shilts, Chuck Loeb and Joyce Cooling. The official ticket sale starts on 9th June 2010.
